Role and responsibilities:

On an apprenticeship in our Home Emergency Team, you will be supported as a Junior Claims Assessor to provide an excellent customer experience to our customers who are experiencing a home emergency. Throughout the life cycle of a claim you will be working with pace to understand, support and ultimately resolve customers’ issues to the best of your ability.

As an Apprentice within the fast-paced LIMemergency Team, you will be given training in processing, validating and resolving customers’ home emergency claims efficiently, in accordance with the policy wording, providing an outstanding customer experience.

In addition to general administration, a Claims Assessor will also be involved in appointing and liaising with approved contractors, keeping the claimant informed regularly as a point of contact and support throughout the claims handling process.

Working alongside our Contractor Network Manager and Team, you will have the opportunity to feedback on contractor performance and impact the way in which our network grows and services customers.

• GCSE Maths and English A* - C
• The ability to work on a rotational basis

Training to be provided:

• The Insurance Practitioner Qualification – Level 3 Standard (18 months)
